About

Singer, Photographer, Father, Lover, Coach, Friend.

I began singing in a band in high school and I went on to travel the world with that band, PAX217, and I learned that humans are truly beautiful. They love to act perfect and they love to be messy and they love love.

When the band broke up, as they do, I became a wedding photographer?? I did.

I saw again that people are beautiful. I was able to be a part of some of the best days of others lives and do something that will remind them that love is fun.

About Me

MUSIC

It’s my therapy and I like to share it.

I began playing music at an early age, my parents were both musicians and my brother Aaron is an incredible musician. He and I began a band as drummer and singer that sold several hundred thousand records before there was social media. We sold records on tour from the back of the van. We gave it everything we had. We played 200+ shows a year.

We created the best we could and loved people the whole way. I recently released a new song entitled “Where.” I’m now working with one of my best friends’ sons, Nolan and I’m bringing Camp Roso (a rock camp for kids, like mine) to my home town of Laguna Beach.

PHOTOGRAPHY

I am the observer, I am developing.

I like to think of my camera is a meditational act of remembering to consider perspectives in every scene I experience. Some of my most enjoyable moments are when I’m lost in a city or nature quietly looking to see something in a new way.
The camera also gives me this wonderful ability to interact with others and have a conversation that leaves me so high, so full, simply because I connected with another human.  I pick up the camera when….

THE TEMPLE

A place within, a place with out fear.

I love the idea of creating space. Space in the mind. Space for the heart. Space for others to express their deepest joys and mountainous pain. Space that is reserved for peace. Space that reminds us that we are allowed to just be.

We’ve joined with the canyon in Laguna Beach, a partnership if you will between the canyon and some humans to just be. This is a space that is the birth of Creating Fun. It’s also where I host TMPL NGHTS, my kind of Dead Poets Society for men.
