I was named after a singer, poet, soldier & King of Isreal, David.
I am on a journey to embodying that man. I began singing in a band in Highschool and I went on to travel the world with that band, PAX217, and I learned that truly humans are beautiful, they love to act perfect and they love to be messy and they love love
I saw again that people are beautiful. I was able to be apart of some of the best days of others lives and do something that will remind them that love is fun. I learned to be behind the camera instead of in front of it. I observed and connected.
One of my favorite poets, Rumi, says, “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” I’ve spent much of my human existence trying to understand how to love at the greatest capacity. I haven’t done the best job, however, I am excavating and extracting the barriers I’ve created against love. I choose to grow until I move on from this earth. I’ve had my losses. I’ve been through a divorce. I’ve had financial challenges, health issues what I keep learning is that growth, transformation, has occurred often when I’ve been in these moments of pain. Pain is a gift that will dissolve the ego’s programming, if we allow it. I’m committed to making mistakes and growing from them. I’m committed to forgiveness. I’m committed to living a life of love. For me, that is success. To be known as one who chooses love, one who has more moments loving, than not.
Let’s step into the flow that gives us drive and passion to create the best things possible while we’re still here!
Something we say in the Tosti home…Hey, You got this, I love you, have some fun out there.”
